1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using ObsyMint Goals (the "App"), or by using this website (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the App or the Site.
2. Description of service
ObsyMint Goals is a personal finance planning and tracking tool. It helps you record budgets, goals, bills, loans, and school fees, and view reports based on the information you enter. All of that information is stored locally on your device. The App does not require an account.
3. Eligibility
The App is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13. By using it, you confirm you're old enough to enter into these terms in your country of residence, or you have a parent or guardian's permission to do so.
4. Your responsibilities
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter into the App, for keeping your device and any backup files or passwords secure, and for reviewing figures the App calculates before relying on them.
5. Acceptable use
When using the App or this website, you agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App beyond what's expressly permitted by applicable law;
- Use the App or this website for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation;
- Attempt to disrupt, bypass, or interfere with the App's purchase, licensing, or ad-serving mechanisms (for example, faking a Pro purchase or blocking ad requests through unauthorized means);
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App, this website, or the third-party services they rely on (Google Play, AdMob, RevenueCat);
- Use automated tools to scrape, spam, or abuse this website's contact form;
- Upload or transmit any unlawful, harassing, or malicious content to us through the contact form or otherwise; or
- Impersonate ObsyMint, its developer, or any other person in connection with the App or this website.
Violating this section may result in us restricting or terminating your access to the App or this website (see Termination).
6. Intellectual property and license
ObsyMint owns the App, the ObsyMint and ObsyMint Goals names and logos, and this website's content and design. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal use, subject to these terms and the applicable app store's terms.
7. Pricing, purchases and refunds
The App is free to download and use, with banner ads shown in the free version. An optional, one-time "Pro" purchase (priced in your local currency; the app and Google Play show the exact price for your region before you buy) removes ads and unlocks extra features. There is no subscription and no free trial period for the Pro purchase.
Purchases are billed and processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment details. Because Google handles the transaction, Google's own refund mechanics apply regardless of the policy below:
- You can typically self-refund directly through Google Play within a short window after purchase (historically around 48 hours for many purchase types), so there's no need to contact us.
- Outside that window, you can still request a refund through Google Play; Google may forward some requests to us for approval via Google Play Console.
Our own policy, on top of Google's: we want you to be happy with ObsyMint Goals Pro. If you're not satisfied, request a refund within Google Play's self-refund window directly through Google Play, or contact us at [email protected] within 7 days of purchase and we'll review it. Refunds are not guaranteed after 7 days or for extended use of Pro features, except where required by law.
If you're purchasing from the European Union or United Kingdom, applicable consumer law may give you a statutory right to withdraw from a digital purchase within 14 days, unless you've expressly consented to immediate access and acknowledged the loss of that right during checkout (a step Google Play Billing's own purchase flow generally handles). Nothing in this policy limits that statutory right where it applies.
Refunds, billing disputes, and payment methods are otherwise governed by Google Play's own terms and refund policies.
8. Third-party services
The App uses Google AdMob to show ads and RevenueCat to verify purchases. Your use of features that rely on these services is also subject to Google's and RevenueCat's own terms. See our Privacy Policy for what data each of these receives.
9. Availability
Because the App works primarily offline, most features remain available without an internet connection. Ads and purchase verification require internet access and depend on the availability of Google's services, which we don't control.
10. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Financial disclaimer
ObsyMint Goals is a financial planning and tracking tool. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, or credit advice, and nothing in the App or on this website should be treated as such. Calculations, projections, and reports are based solely on the information you enter and are provided for planning purposes only. You are responsible for the financial decisions you make using the App, and we recommend consulting a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ObsyMint and its developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or this website, including loss of data (for example, an unrecoverable backup due to a forgotten password) or financial decisions made using information from the App.
13. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue or change the App or this website at any time; because your data lives on your own device, uninstalling is entirely within your control and doesn't depend on us.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the App or this website changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. The effective version is the one published on this page.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
